Transparent water?

Hi! Does anyone of you knows how to make transparent water?
My water looks like this:

It looks very ugly :/

I would like the water which is on the map 2forts.
Please help me.

and is there a cubmap?

I have same problem with "water_well" texture. But other textures works good.

Water for 2fort's filename is 'water/water_2fort'. I'm assuming you made the water correctly (5 sides nodraw, topside water, the brush encompasses all water areas needed.)

yea it all depends on what water texture you use each one has different looks.

For transparent water you could try water_hydro_cheap ...and always scale the water material to 1

Make sure you are applying the water texture to a nodraw brush.
