    TimeWarp Fortress
We play TF2 at non-standard speeds via host_timescale. Generally around 160-180% with occasional slow-mo periods.

Party mode will be on all day as it will be TF2maps.net's 2nd birthday.

    TF2Maps.net Official US Server: 63.210.148.171:27015

Event will begin shortly after the gameday event finishes.

    Password: timewarp

As the timescale increases so does the amount data being thrown around. This can and will effect ping times, scaling in relation to your normal ping. Euro players be advised.

Maps played will be determined as we play.
If you have any suggestions ahead of time for maps you think would work better than others at high speed feel free to drop them here.

No stats/achievements will be counted during this event due to cheats being enabled.

A video made by Jack Riguel of our last event, for those who weren't there. Viddler.com - TF2Maps.net: TimeWarp Fortress - Uploaded by -Oni

Any chance of having a version on the EU server? Would love to try this out, but I hate playing with 150ping, even if I do play better sometimes :p

I'd have to edumacate one of our euro admins in how to do it I guess. (or just leave you to your devices with constant fast :p)

    I cannot wait.

Barring any extenuating circumstances, I will be there.

I'll do my best to be there. I was just thinking recently about how much I wanted to try this and wondering when it'd be run again, if ever. :p

An event where only EU based people are on the EU server and North American based people on the US server would be beneficial I think to get maximum people on the servers and enjoying the experience of timewarp, and preventing ping times from having a major effect.

I'm going to be out at an event for a bit today, so if gameday ends early for some reason or I'm not around don't fret. I'll be back and have it going. :p

    Here are the demos! http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/98931/timewarpdemos2.zip

If someone could make a video again that would be great :D Find Chrono if you need 256fort (I don't think it has a download anywhere on the site) cause that had some of the best video material so you wouldn't want to miss it.

Brilliant! Thanks a bunch for that. Was really hoping such things would turn out to exist.

That appears to just be the map, not the demo. :(

EDIT: Whoops, sorry, mistook ABS's post for saying that he didn't have the 256fort demo. My bad. :p

of course it's just the map. the demos are in my pack cause only staff have access to the STV files. but you can't watch a demo without the map. and people that weren't there might want to watch, so he posted the map.

Diving into the demos. Would anyone happen to have the map files to arena_doublehelix_a1 (can't seem to find it here on the forums) or arena_hydroelectric_a5? (As it has been updated to a6).

    Thanks.

EDIT: Got 'em both. Thanks Boojum.
