ok, b4 TF2, i came from CS:S (and b4 that CoD2, but nvm that) and the only thing i played was surf maps. i love those TO DEATH!!! now, i've heard rumors that so far surfing isn't possible in TF2. is this true? if not, y can't it be done?

Personally I think surfing is fun on tf2, only because it is so much easier to be a spy and go on killing big killing sprees

ok, i just made a test surf map, and i confirm that surfing DOES work in TF2. w00tness!

TF2 surf maps have been around since late Beta. There are a handful of servers out there prefixed with "PPP" that run them, among others. If that's your thing, have at it. Not my cup of tea though. :glare:

ok then every once in a while ill go back to CSS so i can surf xD its only fun if u know how to. im really good at it, and i like it. my friend hates it, cuz he sucks at it

HUUUUGE maps with horribly repeated textures and massive wedges floating like magic in mid air. you run and jump at them some setting is modified and you have to side step and you slide down the wedge and jump onto another wedge.

Its the single worst thing about CS.
They are awefull and I will personaly bludgen anyone that makes a surf map for TF2

Watch a couple and you get the idea. Surf maps are pretty stupid if you ask me, and have no place in TF2
