This idea is one that's been bouncing around in my head for a while, but i thought i'd post it here.

Disclaimer: I have no modelling/texture skills whatsoever. Throwing the idea out and leaving is all i can do.

Its a new theme pack, designed around spytech stuff. Basically, its the sort of stuff you'd find in a bond villain's lair; or an austin powers film, or that sort of place. It could include:

-Lasers. Not just the ones we've already got, but bigger, and smaller, designed for creeping-toward-the crotch. Plus, env_beams designed around tf2.
-Supercomputers. Ones that can wink at you menacingly
-Big red buttons. A great, big, threatening button which must not be pressed under any circumstances.
-Proper evil genius chairs. Ones you can spin around in. Ones with white cats.
-Lava, toxic waste, sharks, fricking seabass with fricking lasers on their fricking heads.

You get the picture. There's plenty of room for crazy expansion, and imagination. Lots of stuff already made would fit it.

Reasons to do it:
- Fits the tf2 style
- Fits with any theme.
- Goes well with existing spytech.
- Crazy and fun and imaginative.
- Gives us the chance to do better than valve: neutral and blu skins of existing props could be included easily, making spytech symmetrical maps, or koth maps easier. (Seriously, how annoying is it to need custom content for a cool ending to PLR)
- Gives people without clout or skills the chance for some fricking awesome stuff.
- No more maps ending in rockets.

I like this idea a lot. It seems like it would be more of an expansion to existing tf2 style, sort of like the flipside of the construction pack in regards to TF2 narrative.

I would support this pack (with nothing because I am terrible at creating custom assets)

Needs to have fully-featured chemistry lab. Just a bunch of vials, test tubes, flasks, and flexible tubes all linked together and full of mysterious chemicals. Either with its own supports or made for setting on top of a desk. Also I guess we'd need the desk.

I've decided to help, and sence I know little about modeling, I've decided to do something simple: a desk with an acid burn in one corner. And instead of starting modeling it right now, I'll wait until vacation is over and I have access to tools I could use to model it... This is getting ackward.

(the vials will be added later, in the shelves and stuff)

Thoughts?

Hmm I just starting creating a more spy-techy security when this thread popped up, heres what I've got so far, still a wip:

I want to keep the polycount too a low level, but I can still round stuff out if its necessary. Do you think it could work in a spy base enviroment or not?
