Hey fellas, yeah gameinfo.txt is missing. I just reïnstalled the game and then this happened.
I already tried verifying game files and copying a file from someone else's tf2 into my folder.
    What to do?

Edit: It only happens when I try to start up Hammer, not Team Fortress 2 itself.

Edit2: Solution is to delete GameConfig.txt from the bin folder in the Team Fortress 2/bin folder

Have you tried deleting gameconfigs.txt from the bin folder?

That usually fixes hammer. It works for me.

I quickly googled a fix and i found this:

Go to the folder where hammer is located and look for a file called something like GameConfig.txt that stores the configurations for hammer.

Open it up in a texteditor and manually update the file locations it stores.

    That should fix the problem.
