Spy Story, A TR Map with some Story

    Hello TF2Maps.net
    This is my first public project.
    If you still remember I made a Thread about my project on a TF2 SP Campaing, But it was about the Heavy and I made some progress but a day I said "F**k this sh**" and started another one with some gameplay changes :)
    It have some "Quest" System that I was thinking with entities...
    Just Download the Alpha and take a look, I will post more about the project and the progress
    Now I'm thinking in a Achievement System again with entities and some system that saves your progress.

    PS: I selected CP because it uses some CP script and well i hadn't a lot of choses

    Oh I just forgot that the visual aspects of it sucks since I didn't cared about the visuals but the entities :p

    Haha that looks kinda neat! Would be really cool if it was nicely detailed and with some cool theme and special tricks to do (some jumps etc).

    Thanks for the feedback :D
    Well, I'm now thinking in more quests using the abilities of the Spy and some story oriented like Blutarch Mann calling you for a special service (like in the Loose Canon comic)
    And about the theme I'm thinking in Snow or Alpine
    Yeah, It is because the map isn't a Alpha or a Beta, Just... Let say it is a tech demo :D

    lol, Well if it looks like WoW It is not my fault since I never played WoW :s
    I'm going to fix some things in the new "GabeN" Quest, make another quest and start the map illumination, And after that I will release another version

    New Feature: Achievements!
    Well actually it is something that says that you made a achievement and you will earn a model in your house (ie. "Complete your first quest" Reward: A Friendly Heavy in your house)
    And now the entire map have lights, fullbright no more!
    I will post some screens tomorrow :D

    Oh that's a nice idea! You can use props and func_brushes, and just have them start disabled, enabling them when the quest is complete :3

    Also, glad to hear you have lighting now ;)

    Yeah Yeah >_<
    I made it fullbright because it was basically a tech demo that was heavily based on Too Many Crates That is a mod that uses a lot of entities and stuff because there is no changed code :eek:
    The only aesthetic details that the map needs now is a 3D Skybox and some little visuals :D

    Environmental lighting is not that hard!

    I hope you get to add lots more quests to this "map" :D

    Yeah, After I make 3 quests I'm thinking in adding The Administrator in the map giving Special Quests with some more rewards and difficulty
    (And if,hopefully, Valve like it I can add some real reward in the game :D)
    PS: The first build of the map was made in 1-2 Hours :eek:
    EDIT: Oh and I'm thinking in forming a "team" to make more quests :3

    After you finish this you should work on a campaign-type map. Or release your creations so others can make a campaign more easily.

    After I finish this map
    I will post a "template" to other people see how it work and make your own :D
    The only thing that I can't see a way to do is saving your progress, If it is impossible to make I think I will ask to Robin to use some code from HL2 or Alien Swarm
