Every time I run a map through hammer, TF2 always gives this error when the game tries to make a custom game.

There's not much I've been able to find to help me with the issue; even following everything in this thread (https://goo.gl/3MDNWf) still gives the issue. If I can't test it like that, is there any other way I can test it?

    Thanks.

EDIT: It looks like even when steam is booted, hammer is just by default launching tf2 in an offline mode. I'm fairly sure it's a hammer related issue by this point, not tf2.

Try having TF2 open when you start the compile, and in the Additional Game Parameters box type -hijack

This is the closest I've gotten to it working, however another error message appears now:

In that case yo can try one of two things - either verify your game cache or just run your map using the console with the command map [mapname]

Thank you! Running it through the console worked.
