I have this building in cp_kalinka I would like to run a skybox brush through to separate the areas more. I can't however figure out a way to do it so the building would be visible from both sides of the skybox brush.

Anyone got any ideas if this would be possible or if theres another way to cut the visibility without running the brush through the building?

Here is the vmf at its current state if anyone wants to take a look at it.

    EDIT: Updated vmf

If you make the brushes displacements they will be entirely rendered as long as part of them is showing on one side of the skybox.

Alternatively you can make the brushes and the billboard prop part of the 3D skybox, so it's always rendered in the map.

Yeah I know this (works if they are func_details as well). I can't figure out a place for the skybox brush which would cut the faces so parts of them are on each side of the skybox.

I managed to get fairly good results now that I found out that even when the faces are z-fighting with the skybox texture, they are considered visible.

The visibility is still a bit wonky when viewing from these places. They are not really places the players would be looking at the top of that building tho, but I would like to get as close to perfect as possible.

I'll update the vmf download to have this current skybox setup.

I would do this, but the building is actually hollow on the inside.
