You kinda got owned. The source engine has its own version of FRAPS built in.

Also there is an awesome program server admins can run called sourceTV which can record games and you can zoom around the map while you play it back. Its great.

Do you mean demo recorder? I used it... and made the smooth out of the demo... and then used fraps so i could put it to youtube

and sourcetvdemos cant be smoothed. So you got owned yourself
