Why should we revoke it? Good evening, I have been permanently banned from all TF2Maps platforms today, on june 23rd 2024, as I believe — absolutely unjustifiably and unreasonably. I just today registered on website and decided to join the discord server, on which I verified connecting my steam, discord and tf2maps profiles. Later in the evening, I have stumbled across a person posting link that is inherently political, for it specifically targetted state of Israel and western companies proffiting off it on background of current Israel-HAMAS war. I absolutely do not support or care about either side, if seeming opposition to HAMAS/Palestine was the sole reasoning to my ban, but regardless I felt free to responding to this person with 2 images depicting more or less neutral stance — simply mocking supporters of the Palestine, rather than supporting any side outright using various „soyjak” characters. Mere seconds following this, I found myself banned from the server as well as blocked by it's official bot, as wel as on the website. I have not been given any warning prior to this, and this is a single instance of any sort of „punishment” of me, although in rules it is clearly written that first violations will be simply warned. Furthermore, I thoughtfully checked server's rules before posting these images to make sure I do not break them with these, as well as checking them after my ban — and I am convinced I have absolutely not violated a single rule, outside of unspoken rules that forbid to disagree with someone else's politics or politics of the majority of the server. I kindly ask you to reconsider your ban, and if you have zero desire of witnessing disagreement with your political opinions, at least lifting my ban on the website and other platforms, thank you.
