Prob with flowing water

    Hi guys,
    after a few minutes I've flowing water now ... my prob is, that when I shoot at the water there are bullet-holes in it and I run ON the water and not through it ... (I don't want to swim, only run through a little river) ... thx for advice :bored:

    Hmmm. Is it possible to make it non solid?

    And I remember reading the Valve documents about creating a brush with a water texture on top and then putting a brush about 1 unit thick on top of the brush. I'm guessing that would let you shoot at the water and make a splash, just in case you would want that too. :)

    But yeah, my guess would be to make the brush non-solid, but I'm not entirely sure where to look for that option because I haven't done anything in Hammer for a while now. :<

    what method did you use to make your water 'flow'?

    basically i told him to use the water from ABSĀ“s waterfall texture
    i have the same "problem" on cashworks, the water is a solid brush

    You won't ever be able to swim in it, but you CAN make it a func_brush and make it nonsolid!
