[PREFAB] Skybox Prop Placement Kit
Wanted to make a 3d skybox by creating it in real-size then scaling it down, but dismayed by the 3d skybox buildings from Well being difficult to place? (That is to say, this method like I do) Then you need...
CapellanCitizen's Skybox Prop Placement Kit! (Version 1)
But what is this?
This is a set of prefabs that are the skybox props in tf2 (EXCEPTIONS: Skycards, Egypt props, Silo lids) with "Skip" textured boxes around them to show their size were they 16X larger, that is to say real-size. Just align the boxes where you want them, and they'll be in the correct place when you scale the skybox down. you don't even need to delete the boxes, because skip doesn't compile! It also has particle systems and ropes already aligned, where applicable, and even has props placed together in clusters E.G. the rocket and gantry, the boat and conveyor, etc.
So,
This:
Becomes this:
So now you know the size the skybox props in relation to each other, and place them precisely, no problems!
Nothing complex, but something I made for myself that I thought you would find useful
Download it here!
A continuation of the skybox building project.
