There's an entire video about how you can hit people around corners in overwatch because the hitboxes are so oversized.
When was this video made? Overwatch reduced the hitbox sizes in the last major update that was released on July 20th.
Most, if not all, of my gameplay experience is post July 20th, so I can't really guess how they compare between then and now.
I'll see about finding and watching that video, though, it sounds interesting.
