Ok my overlays seem to be disappearing on me. So I end up having to go back threw entire area's of my map applying them all over again this wastes tons of time D:

So the blue box remains but the face is not there. If I alt enter on it you can see that the proper texture of overlay is selected to display but nothing appears?. Is there any way to fix that without having to reapply them all over again?

    Thanks

Check if the faceId keyvalue has become corrupted. They tend to break when you split solids.

Go to the overlays entity properties, there should be a parameter called "Brush faces".
This is where you choose what faces the overlay should appear on.

It could also be that the overlay is rotated., try rotating it

Might have been caused by you splitting a brush or something. Doing so will create additional faces that needs new ID's. After that, the brush face ID's selected in the overlays properties was no longer correct/existing.

I do it all the time, its not a big deal ;)
