Something that never occurred to me before is the question of what happens when VRAD encounters a nodraw brush. We know it blocks both lighting and visibility, but how much light actually bounces off of it, if any. I ask, because I'm making a map where the light that bounces off a certain face might be noticeable, but I don't want to have to actually use the correct texture for it since the face itself won't be visible. Is there a way to make a face that renders like a nodraw but also has a specific reflectivity during compile?
