I dunno, the lines about 'the other person' and all this stuff makes me think of a return of the VIP game mode. At least, I don't think betrayal mode like UT3 would work in TF2. If I got the gist of it, it involves teamkilling for points.

Bah, it'll be interesting to see how they execute that... it's not like Betrayal was an easy mode to figure out...


EDIT: Scratch that all. I just listened to it all a second time. Best guess says they're going to do a new status effect that binds two members from opposite teams together... against everyone else. Either it's going to be a specific event mode (like koth_harvest_event) or they're making a full new map/game-mode off of this.

But I don't reckon it's a new game mode, because the sounds are labelled _dec_ which... stands for december, (unless I'm wrong), and will hence be exclusive to that month.

Well I'm hoping for a full new game-mode. But I'll be happy with anything new

And they didnt go to any trouble to make all the assets for the halloween map? I'd say that takes more effort than recording a few lines which could be done in a couple hours.

I'd really like to know what the HELL those are for, cause they certainly arent for what I'm expecting in this next update..
