French..? Only in Quebec. I can say that America is mostly Spanish because of the southern states.

North = colder. Canada = more north than America.

Personal safety was always at the fore of my mind when battling my way through the citadel. Those railings look nasty; obviously, the combine have no fear of heights.
Just in case you were wondering, all railings like that in hl2 have a ragdoll-magnet, so those cases are intended to be as common as possible.
