That's why you shouldn't make fullbright maps

check to see if they have model/ or prop/ in their name, if they do you need to use the non model equivelent (forunately for us valve makes 2 versions of 95% of their textures, model and non model)
perhaps you've added one light entity somewhere hand haven't realised, thus causing your entire map to be pitch black

So it instantly goes black when you turn on noclip? or it only turns black at certain points whilst flying with noclip. Is it a sudden transition or a fade?
So what's the problem?
Usually players don't noclip out of the map during normal gameplay.
And you map should have lights before people start playing it.
when you noclip, are you still facing in toward the level or outside... sorry, have to ask.
