map downloader broken

whenever i try to go to gameday or download any map, it says "missing maps "the map".bsp"

it has been happening for awhile...i have download custom content checked and everything.

Its just a bug with the redirect. Join chat and we can give you the link to the .bsp and just install in manually.

i dont believe that is it. ive tried downloading maps from other servers, and i get the missing maps error.

ive had this happen on a few maps. it will be in my directory, but it will still say missing map. deleting my map folder helped.

so do i have to recompile all my maps to load them in tf2?

only the official ones work right now.

what exactly are you trying to do?

Before you delete anything, go into options, multiplayer, and make sure you have "Allow all custom content from the server." Having that turned off or set to anything but "all" will prevent a map from downloading.
