Use crowbar to decompile, load it in 3ds max, and use the slice tool, I might do it later when I get home but I encourage you to learn how to do it yourself as it's a useful skill.

That isn't really a good response to anyone making a request, fanta, come on :|

I tried doing the thing for you since it would take like five minutes, but for some reason MDLDecompiler crashes when I try to decompile that model. Strange. Have you considered just sinking the tank into the ground and compiling with -staticproplighting (so the model will be lit per-vertex, not just from the origin)?

Use crowbar not mdldecompiler

Also that's a perfectly fine response.

What I'm looking to do is to put the tank on the back of the flatbed truck from the construction pack. At the moment, the concrete part clips thorough the truck as the bed isn't as thick as the concrete.

...assuming you are a student <_<

Which I am not.

Someone said that 3DS max also gives out copies to unemployed people going into the industry.

Which I am not.

It's a completely understandable request, since the decompiling, importing, exporting and recompiling alone is a complete pain. However for someone who does that regularly (and has a decent setup for it!) it's a 5 minute deal. I had to do it many times over the last years, I'm still scared of it. It jarates me off.

I happen to know a more than experienced workshop contributor who is still so emotionally scarred from setting up MESA (with help actually) that he has a complete system backup ready.

Aside from maybe having no modelling experience at all. The OP hasn't mentioned anything regarding this.

Besides that: Blender.
