Localizing Sound

    I have a sound_ambiant entity in a specific room, where I want olny the people in that room to hear it.

    No matter what I do, you can hear the sound all over the map. And no, the "play sound entire map" option is not checked. I have changed the "Max Audible distace set at 10. I've tried to from everything 1 to 1200 and you always hear it all over the map.

    The sound is triggered by an outside trigger.

    Are you using the soundscript name (looks like "TF2.something") or the raw wav file (looks like "sounds/path/path.something.wav")?

    If you're using the soundscript name, it's probably that the soundscript has defined a different channel or volume for the sound, which will override any setting you have in your ambient_generic.

    That might explain it, I am using ambient.siren, because that's what I want, in the room.

    OK,s o now how do I get it to show me the wireframe of sound travel?
