Tiftid submitted a new resource:

koth_tiftidwater - A KOTH map that employs underwater routes for uniqueness and complexity.

The tagline pretty much says it all.
I think KOTH maps in particular need interesting geometry to stand out from the rest of the pack, so I made something that really interests me, which is water gameplay.

I intended it to look like an abstract 2008/2009 sort of map, but I feel like I failed, since the only thing it really reminds me of is the CTF stage of cp_tiftid_mc21_a1. Needs more Half-Life 2 textures, I guess.

Tiftid updated koth_tiftidwater with a new update entry:

A1A - Day 2 bugfixes

-Copied the shadow_control from cp_bruhstbowl into the map, so dynamic shadows are no longer pink
-Fixed two cases of red arrow signs on BLU's side of the map
-Added arrows in the water pit just outside each team's spawn to indicate where you can rise out of the water
-Toned down the HDR - you can barely even notice it now :(

A1B - I fucked up in A1 and A1A but it was kinda based tbh

-The control point's capzone is now smaller and less tucked away behind walls

-The water underneath the point now has a couple of small health kits in it as an incentive to use it

-The routing to the point has been adjusted to make rotate times longer for defenders and shorter for attackers

-The underwater routes are now very slightly more interesting to fight in

-The HDR has been toned down slightly

A2 - TiftidWater A2 - The Waterening

-The map has generally graduated from "Mildly Deranged" to "Insane"
-The map now has more tiles

-The water has been raised so that the top if it clips halfway through the dark grey walkways - this makes it much easier to see where you can surface from underwater

-The area with the generator turbine snipers used to try to use has had its turbine removed, and the water now gives players an alternate route underneath this area as well as a retreat option while trying to attack the control...
