Koth_Slimewater - A simple, soggy boathouse brawl

My first TF2 map, hurray!

This Koth map that gives the game's water mechanics a great deal of prominence. Allot of TF2 maps don't use much water, for obvious, mumbling reasons, but now that the Pyro has more tools to compensate for and totally circumvent his biggest weakness, I may as well give it a shot.

I'm not suuuure if I'll finish it, water might just be a gameplay deal breaker, but I'll definitely do more of this mapping stuff, it's super fun.


Takes way to long to make and update maps

A couple of nitpicks:
There's very few areas for you to get out of the water once you fall in, making it a bit of a time waster
The map has very little vertical variation; it's quite flat
It's hard to tell where the capture area starts and ends (I'd suggest placing overlays textured as signs/hazard_yellow001_strip around the point to show where)
I'd suggest setting the collisions on the rope pile to not solid
Also, as was pointed out in the chat, remember to name your versions correctly (your current version is named koth_slimewater_2; it should be koth_slimewater_a2). I'd suggest checking out this video for more info
