Instanced lights

Has anyone made a full collection of light instances, i.e. mostly stolen right from Valve maps? The advantage over prefabs would be pretty significant, I think, as it would let mappers that have the collection customize it very easily.

prefabs are better than instances imo because I enjoy tweaking every simgle light entities. instances aren't flexible enough imo.

Yeah I'd say use that lighting library and create your own preferred instances from that.
Having a complete instance collection means everything needs its own vmf which is hard to "browse".

Creating the instance this way shouldn't take more than a few seconds.

Ah, I have the library, which is useful; I was just wondering if someone had on their own made such a collection of instances, that I could then adopt. Thanks anyway
