Hello, new to the forums and source mapping in general. Sorry if this has been answered before, I couldn't find it.
So, when testing your maps do you start TF2 every time or do you keep it running in the background and update the map?
If the latter, what is a convinient way to do it?

You can use the -hijack option when compiling, meaning it will launch the map in a currently existing tf2 process instead of trying to launch a new one (and failing because one already exists). Just put it into the 'additional parameters' box above the 'run map' button
