Hammer++ Clipping Tool outright deletes the whole mesh [IGNORE-FIXED]

Anyone know how to fix this issue? Whatever I do nothing fixes this, I've restarted my pc, Hammer++ and trying to left click to edit the white/red selection to delete nothing happens.
