env_beam can be pointed anywhere (it passes through everything, including map geometry!), and its very flexible. It's also much more expensive (especially with the spawnflag settings enabled such as Ring) than env_laser to use
Depends on use. If you need it to pass through everything, be in a weird position or need a ring shape (and don't really care about performance) use env_beam. If you need it to collide or stop when it hits an entity (or need to spare performance), use env_laser.
Well i have an error with my env_laser where it shows just a part of the laser even the info_target is far away from the distance that the laser made in the map
