    Hey,

How do you seal off a map from leaks when it has a lot of displacements on the edges?

    Stay awesome,

Displacements do not seal the map, surround your displacement brush with toolsnodraw to prevent leaks.

How accurately would you reckon I need to be with those brushes (do I need to put them exactly next to the displacement, or can I have some space in between)?

Ideally it should be something like this:

Just ensure there's no holes and your map will be sealed.

It doesn't have to be nodraw, but nodraw is the best option for when you can't see the brush.

Basically ignore the displacement brush completely.
