Decompiling a map

    Help me out! Lemme know the exact steps, I've followed vmex's readme to no avail.

    Open up vmex.jar from wherever you have it, select your map, and choose the decompile options; the defaults usually suffice. The mapname_d.vmf will then be placed where the original .bsp is located.

    When I attempted the decomp the first time, Hammer opened the .vmf file, then three or four errors pop up, and then Hammer crashes

    What's the map? Maybe it doesn't want to be decompiled.
