    Darcy - a small map, based on a "gravel train station"

    My first map to be posted, not the first map I made, but still, it's my first good one.

    This map is based on a station where the Blue and Red teams sell gravel and the like.

    Darcy's Alpha 2 version.
    - The orientation of the sun has changed.
    - Lights are now more "realistic"
    - Changed the Skybox texture.
    - Stairs added to "train shortcuts" to facilitate navigation.

    - Added light on them too.
    - Moved the ammo pack and health kit away.

    - Added rocks in the middle for more easy flanks

    Notes:

    - The fullbright effect was caused by compilepal, I honestly don't know why it happened.

    - The layout has changed. you'll see what I mean when the A3 version is released (almost the entire map)

    - I'm still working on optimization (in fact, I'm just putting occluders and areaportals in some locations). let me refresh your memory, numportals were around ~ 1333, and now this is around 800. (tophattwaffle was right, make a proper skybox!)
    (I am planning to do the "hint and skip" technique in future versions)

    OBS: These three weeks were so bad for me that I can't express it in words. i got covid and FFS, the first day i was fine, then the next day ... well, i couldn't eat, or just sleep. it feels really bad. yes, the A3 version will be released and I did not abandon the project.

    Darcy's Alpha 3 version.

    NOTE: i've compiled with -ldr and -hdr, nothing special, but now you'll se the lights.


    A lot has changed since version A2, after a lot of feedback on how much snipers could kill you on the other side of the map, I had to change the entire layout in the middle.

    What can I say that are “update notes” is:
    - Improved Areaportals and Placed Occluders
    - Changed the location of Ammopacks and Healthkits
    - Now you can see the actual wood plank texture on the trains
    OBS: The map isn't fully optimized yet
