Brokkhouse submitted a new resource:

Damocles - The mercs found an abandoned space center. Who will gain launch control?

First project in Hammer. Trying to recreate the flow of Viaduct but underground, with the added feature of a moving control point gimmick. I'm playing it by ear, really.

Known issues:
The central rocket appears jittery. This is a func_tracktrain limitation that I haven't managed to circumvent yet. Should not affect gameplay.
Spawn area is ugly as sin. Will be changed eventually.

Uses 1-2 Construction and Frontline assets. Packed into the map.

Also uses Freyja's absolutely beautiful Soyuz rocket model.

Brokkhouse updated Damocles with a new update entry:

Onward onto the breach

-Added another path to the battlements
-Moved plenty of healthpacks around and added some more
-Shortened capture time, made capture zone larger, clipped capture platform, etc
-Added some more lights and signs
-Reworked the spawns - the enemy team cannot enter the spawn area (outside)
-Decided on a map theme and added a few hints here and there where it's gonna go
-Added a one-way door at a strategic spot
-many, many more smaller changes and things

Feedback Appreciation Patch

-Completely reworked mid according to feedback
--Simplified the logic
--Made most of the capture area larger and unmoving, which means stickies should work fine again
--Shrunk the pit of death and added childproofing all around the point for less environmental deaths
--Made rocket explosion more cool
--Changed paths to the capture zone slightly
--Slightly lowered capture area - no more fall damage when jumping off the platform

-Moved plenty of healthpacks around in an effort to concentrate...
