We've been playing b1 for quite a long time now (part of one of our mapcycle, final should be on 3 servers), seems that's the map is finally well balanced. I especially love the stress of the first CP that's stayed the harder to take till D.
I always loved the design, and it's pretty refreshing to have a good CP while swimming in a pl ocean those days.
Cerious got a point for the final you should make something to explain why Blue have to take the map.

My fav is still CP A but the rest is great aswell, beside some "design stuff"
i personal would like to see different on other parts... :)

There has been minimal work done so far on the final version, however i've been working on fixing up any last minor problems or stuff i may have missed. Since this is the first map that i've ever released there is only so much that i cna do with it, and as such the final version won't be miraculously different. Instead it's more about optimization and me working on things that are lacking in certain areas. This mainly pertains to the areas that you drop down to your death as well as capture area D. If you have any direct suggestions for design stuff then do post them.

Final version is out!!!!

Final change log:

- Added nodraw brushes in front of the blue gates to prevent shots being fired through before the round starts.
- General cosmetic additions such as lighting, models, etc.
- Added playerclips to prevent certain get under the map exploits.
- Changed the gate from D to A so that it kills anyone who tries to stand in the way and keep it open.
- Widened some doors to make it easier to move through.
- Added areaportals and occluders in an attempt to fix fps lowering areas.

This is such a good map.

My server has been playing it often and it is always enjoyed by everyone. The gameplay is just plain great, the action furious and the ful level always high.

Thanks Andy for making this map, can't wait to see your other projects!

People get this map, you wont regret it!

I just love your map

it's perfect for a low pop, and also somehow manages to hold a full 32-man server :)

I played it on a 32 player server the other day, and it was impossible for blue to win. I always said that it was meant for 12 to 24 players, but people apparently wanted to play it with massive numbers of players. I don't mind as long as my map get's played. I'm glad you love my map Icarus. Hopefully my next one will be able to impress you as well.
