Custom content is allowed as long as you have permission and keep in mind that you or the author of the content will be required to provide the sourcefiles if your entry wins. Which means everything in the downloads section is fair game, granted that you can get the author to provide the sourcefiles.

Wait, seeing as how this is the untextured screens from Valve... would anyone using this have to contact Valve?!

but you should change the readme to extract to the "team fortress 2" folder, not the "tf" folder. which can be confusing for noobs like me.

it didn't work for me until I extracted to /steamapps/USERNAMEHERE/team fortress 2, because the file I DLed had it's own /tf folder.

that's all I know. unless I hallucinated the whole thing...
