SFM have decided to host Community map of the year 2009. This competition gives some community maps the chance to become recognized. To find out more information click here as I'm sure you'll agree this thread is pretty brief.

i like the idea but pet peeved that the links are the same exact color as the regular text =(too me second to find..
Also at that point i had to log into the forums to see the forums, major turn off. If registering allows you to view all the forum then you should be able to do so without, however if registering AFTER you are able to view the forums allows access to get to hidden forums for clan only that makes sense.
In all sweet! i hope you guys get a lot of great submissions, mind my little peeve about the forums =)

Honestly, I'd feel like a asshole if I could do that ._.
I'm not complaining about the price, I'm just subtly expressing my dislike for reserved slot - kicking.
Anyway, it sounds like a very nice little contest-ish thing. I hope all of our awesomest mappers enter their maps.

Well considering its free I wouldn't complain about the price either
But the whole idea of a reserved slot it to enable map creators to experience their maps in a full 20 man server without having to wait to join!
