Changing map with point servercmd

    Is it possible to use the point_servercommand to change the map due to an event, say for instance on a capture point being captured by team blu?

    If there are a few threads on this I missed please re-direct me to them and feel free to delete this one.

    Yup... send it the command input with a value of "changelevel <map name>"

    I must be doing something wrong, it is not changing map on capture. Although I am just testing it out on run map through hammer, not sure if that matters much.

    Hmm... I've never actually done it myself, I just know people have done it... That looks like it should work, but you only need one input, not both. That may or may not be the problem.

    Interesting enough I got it to work with a func_breakable object.
    The main thing is I really want it to work with a capture point, going to try to link some events together to try a work around.

    then just have the cap point send the breakable a break input when capped

    Exactly but that is not working either. I am missing something when it comes to Cap points I believe. Do I need a team_control_point_master in the map?

    What I want my cap point to do is :
    - Turn the Hologram to the right team (works)
    - Disable/Lock all other cap points
    - Change to a new map

    searching now for a good CP tutorial to make sure I have not missed anything.

    Well got everything to work now, I would just like a bit more input on cap times concerning more and more people. Since this map basis off of Number of people on a certain point.

    Yup I posted that link earlier, but regardless I am going to test it out. Is there a vote map tutorial on the forums? If not I'd be happy to create one. Thanks for the help

    Oh, hah, silly me. I didn't even look at the link you posted (obviously) :p Just figured you hadn't found it if you were asking.

    There is no such tutorial that I know of, so go ahead if you like.
