Bonesaw - Event version of Hacksaw


Welcome to Bonesaw!


This is a Payload Race map set in a neigh-apocalyptic forest, coated in ash and burning from the inside out. Red's floorboards and walls are full of embers, and Blu's base is twisted from the hot steel. No smoking allowed!

The Mann Brothers have had their souls trapped within haunted gravestones. Push your team's saw into the enemy team's grave to destroy the monument, release their soul, and trap it in hell for...​

    • Fixed the wrong team being awarded the win in the underworld

  • The platforms leading to the gift in the underworld are now static, a bit twisty, and have a sawblade
  • Fixed janky lighting in the underworld

Congrats on getting it in the game! There are some issues however. First off, RED can't push their cart. At all. It also doesn't show up on the HUD. Then there are some missing textures in both resupply lockers in RED and BLU spawn, RED's resupply locker is completely invisible. Next, the Headless Horseless Horseman doesn't have a body, it's just a floating axe going around the map. And I've heard from people that when the carts go to their end goal it might or might not crash the server. Finally, it MAY happen that the carts are invisible, in which case the entire HELL section is also invisible with invisible saws and platforms.

This is an excellent engie spot, but it's pretty difficult to attack from either end. A nobuild would be appreciated I think.

Dan is aware of the issues with the cart not working (Valve messed up with compiling the map long story short)
as well as the issue with the HHH model replacement
Not sure about the invisible models, but other "featured" maps have this issue with packed content sometimes

Yeah, I noticed. Update fixed most of the stuff, but it seems the server still doesn't really like it, as soon as the announcer tells about the cart reaching the end the server crashes. Not sure what happens there.
