Asian Vehicles - for Asia maps.

Hello again TF2 mappers, I'm the guy who made the Hatchback model. So I made 5 vehicles for TF2 maps in Asia. So I will put the list of the models that I completed.

I making more vehicles to add on soon. The list of the models I'm working on:

Well, the Asian vehicles is going to be in part 2 on going soon.

Anyway, I'm releasing the 5 models on TF2Maps, feel free to make projects of them in maps. If anything have problems with the models just massage me.

I have to apologize, that I putting the models pack in the wrong place. I was figuring out why the prop models did not showed up (with the red error is showing) last night, found out that I mixed up everything, they are not on props_vehicles. That is a big mistake I made. *facepalm*

So this afternoon,I went back to fix over the models and textures using VTFEdit and Crowbar, it took me hours to put the textures on the models in the right place. So I tested out the Asian Vehicles pack and also the hatchback. The pack is now on props_vehicles. I'm going to deal with the hatchback model pack and update it later. Do not download the v1 it's in the wrong place.

These are great looking! only critique is maybe remake the wheels and base them off of other tf2 car wheels along with more detail in the hubcaps

the wheels and rims could also perhaps use a few more polygons to smooth them out some.

• The texture of the Kong King and Japanese Taxis are low, using Paint Tool Sai 2 to clip the textures 15% dark, the reason both of them are a bit too bright. Got those two done.

• Kei car 2, I change and moved the headlights back due for, it needs to move back more.
  

• The taxi collisions are on kei truck and two kei cars. That's a big OOF. I redo over the collisions on 5 of them, renamed them on Blender and QC Notepad so it will not be in the wrong place.

The reason, I don't want to put too much vert on the wheels and I know what you mean.

This is some very good work, I hope you get round to doing the other vehicles on your list.
The only thing I'd say could be improved is adding ambient occlusion to the texture, in the pictures it doesnt look like theres any. Also adding numbers and letters to the licence plates. Keep it up!

Thank you very much. I using ambient occlusion and normal texture, the reason is.. the texture after baking has a dark ugly looking pixel lines on the model, so I used Paint Tool Sai 2 to blur out and clipped on by brightening up and covering the terrible dark line pixel edges. And used Photoshop CS6 to change normal (object) into black and white then, paste it on Paint Tool and clip on. So that's why. There are some tf vehicles that don't use licence plate, so I made them blank without letters. I'm happy you liked my work.

I'm curious what you meant by "ugly pixel lines", because it might be something we'd know how to fix.

Cherry Van is now released.

The two taxis
-Skin textures are now darken by using normal
-The wheels and hubcaps have been changed
-Rear taillights were resized and moved back
-The grill lines has removed and replace paint tool sai grill texture

Keicar2
-Grill lines has replaced texture grill (same thing on Kong King & Japanese Taxis)
-Wheels/hubcaps have changed and smoothing
-Top of the front window has moved up little bit
-front headlight parts has move up a bit

Keitruck
-The under of the truck has fixed
-Headlight texture lines is rotated a bit
-Texture on the tray bed (right side) is fixed
-Wheels are now smoothing

Also added numbers/letters on Asian license plates.

Also the kei truck model is stretch out a bit, two kei cars are resized and changed.

So the Japanese Ambulance is now released. It has two different models.

- keicar

• The right wheels have moved back a bit.
• The back wheel liners has changed
  
• The front end and hood top texture has changed again.

I fixed the Japanese police car and 510 Wagon UV textures. The reason is, the white line under the police car and white piece on the wagon right side fender were showing.

D.C.V. updated Asian Vehicles with a new update entry:

update notice

I've added bones on the Japanese ambulance back doors for resupply, then edited the glass windows in the back and also edited the edges on the ambulance.

It's going to be replace with a resupply ambulance and keeping the prop ambulance with back doors open.
