Depends what "change" means.
If it's an attack-defend equilibrium, then not a very large change. Instead of going on the roof to attack the closed space, now you can "snipe" from a distance the open space. It's still a bit protected.
If it's a gameplay change that you now don't have to go all the way up to flank, well heck. Even a bush would be important to diminish the concentration of a player.*
