The Source SDK is not working for me, and yes, I've looked at the other SDK not working threads and my problem's different.

Everytime I click on Source SDK, the window saying "Preparing to launch" appears for a brief second and then goes away immediately. The sdklauncher.exe process does not even appear. This is annoying.

Steps I have taken so far:

    *Played Team Fortress 2
    *Verified integrity of cache
*Searched Google for solutions-- none found
    *Uninstalled and reinstalled Source SDK
    *Deleted ClientRegistry.blob

    It's still doing it. Help???

Makes me think of the problems I have with steam whenever my computer enters/exits sleep mode. I keep needing to close it, sometimes giving steam.exe the three-finger salute.

You could use Sysinternals procmon to tell whether it starts up really really briefly and disappears, but I'm not sure how useful that knowledge would be.

Did un/re-installing also include wiping out the folders on-disk?

Have you tried verifying the TF2 cache?

I honestly don't know WHAT I should delete if I do that.

    Didn't work.

You would delete this folder here:
    64bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[yourusername]\sourcesdk
    32bit - C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourusername]\sourcesdk

You may want to delete this one as well just for shits and giggles:
    64bit - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\[yourusername]\sourcesdk_content
    32bit - C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourusername]\sourcesdk_content

Also, is this the very first time you're trying to open SDK or has it worked before and now for some reason it just has started doing this?

I last used it on May 14th, when I was working on fixing Metalwood for the contest. It's still acting up, so I'll uninstall, delete those, and reinstall...
