Hum, didn't feel like a long post that day, I'll do it now.

The things in the picture are really way too specific to be very useful. They really just serve his purposes alone. I think it should be generalized objective/structuring descriptors.

Objectives are flags, control points and payloads. That's really all TF2 has.
Structure would be things like attack & defend, one stage or many stages, etc.

Arena, koth and plr seem redundant since the map prefix covers that if you are using it, the only place I could see it being used are the TC versions people are making, but those are pretty one-off instances.

I don't think other and wip are needed. Other is covered by the lack of a map prefix and wip is pretty obvious.

So my idea for a list would be:
Flags
Control Points
Payload
Attack & Defend
Multi-Stage
Territorial Control
Non-Linear

Examples:
Gravelpit - CP/AD/Non-Linear
Meridian - Flags/TC
Vector - Flags/AD/MS
Snowdrift - Flags/AD
Pipeline - PL/MS
Badwater - PL/AD
Goldrush - PL/AD/MS

It seems I've went and made the list smaller than it was. I'm not sure if relying on the "negative" aspect of it is good for glancing info or not. (lack of AD means both ways, push) I suppose it would be possible to expand the list to actually have the opposites. (Single Stage, Push, Linear)
