AArgh red and blue spawn in the same place

    Ok, red and blue spawn in the same spawn entity. Even if I make it simple.

    So i make a info_player_teamspawn and i set Team: Blue
    I make another one and set Team:Red

    I compile, test, i join blue, good i spawn where i should be. I change team to red, i spawn in the blue area.

    I can't figure out what i do wrong!!! Please help

    another thing, they are set to any, but if you set them to red and blue it doesnt work ;)

    Im compiling right now but have you got func_respawnrooms for each of them?

    no i deleted them because i went back from zero, i first wanted the spawns work than the rest. It doesn't work even with them though.

    could it be something as simple as just forgetting to set up the filters?

    nope something else, had to fill in where for each round or something had to type: dm_biosphere.

    Thanks to thebladerodeon for the find!!!!!!!!!!!!! And others who also didn't find it but did the effort.

    thats odd

    things can be buggy, but i've never seen that yet, sometimes my models will be the wrong model or other weird things, but never had spawning in an enemies point.

    Since hammer does weird things, sometimes u need to try weird things to fix it. I would try these...

    1. Copy paste everything into a new map
    2. Delete all of the spawns and start over
    3. Start a the map over in a new window if u haven't gone too far.
    4. Copy & paste spawns from another working map into yours, then keep coping & pasting them for the rest of your spawns.
    5. Chance the option for team to the opposite team & compile to test, then change it back.
    6. Reboot hammer if you haven't already.

    Hopefully you'll get it figured out soon.

    Not sure why it happened besides maybe hammer does this on purpose to keep us humored, haha.

    I've had this problem when I copy/pasted func_respawnrooms and/or info_player_teamspawns. Try deleting all related entities and start over.

    Hey Snipergen, how did you end up fixing it? Do you know what the problem was? A friend is having the same problem with his map and he had me take a look at it. For the life of me though, I can't figure out what is wrong.
