CTF- Making it so flag bearer runs slower.

Hello,

Im making a CTf map and have msot of the enitinys sorted out as I am fairly confident ( have made a payload map before so this isa breeze :cool1:)

Anyhow what I want to know is if there is any way of making it so that when a player picks up the intel, their movement speed is slowed?

Im mainly doing this to make it harder for scout rush caps and the only other possible solution was to parent a trigger_hurt to the flag..

Any ideas?

How bout a trigger push in the opposite direction from the capture zone?

You don't, I believe the idea was for the trigger_push to parent the intel, and always face whichever direction will annoy the player most. Note that it will probably affect slower classes even more than scouts...

Why can't we do in TF2 half the things we could with TFC ? :/

well Ive been mucking around a bit and found that by making 4 trigger_pushes, each a triangle shape that join together to make a square around the itnel,it slows the carrier down in all directions (cept up and down :p)

However there are a few loopholes atm, one being how you said the speed is reduced bya flat number, not a percentage.
Also thers a bit of a bug where by moving diagonally one is not affected byt he push ... Just going to keep on working on it :)
