Hello again, What would be causing my lighting issue here I simply cant figure it out (All of the control points on my map are like this and its confusing me)

The control point in this screenshot is a controlpoint deep inside a building that has no source of outdoor lighting so why would it be reflecting the skybox ?

My first guess is that you don't have any cubemaps. stick one like 64units over the cap, open console and type 'buildcubemaps'. restart TF2 and see how it looks. env_cubemap it needed for the engine to properly render shiny stuff like water and metal.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think even if you DO have cubemaps, if the closest one to the cap is outside, it'll reflect the skybox as though it were also outside. In which case doing like Immortal said would still be the way to go, of course.

I don't think so. The way I understand it, when you build cubemaps it actually looks, in the game, at what's in the area around the entity, so invisible brushes like a trigger shouldn't matter.
Doesn't this happen if you don't have a 3-d skybox made correctly? I seem to recall that being an issue. If you don't have one set up yet, I found this tutorial extremely helpful:

HDR without cubemaps results in bright white objects that reflect (instead of a purple checkerboard), so it still seems like a lack of cubemaps problem.

Hmm, best to be clear about this. You have cubemap entities, but have you ran the map in game and used the "buildcubemaps" console command? If not, those cubemaps won't do anything. Maybe that's old news, but you never know.
