Prop request...

So I need to get a fence prop, but all the props valve made don't fit my map. And the ones I made from scratch (in hammer) use lots of brushes, making compiling longer than it should be.

I know it's possible to make props in like blender, and propper, but I don't have time to figure it out. I'm already working on music production, audio engineering, photoshop, and mapping. So I don't feel like I could take on the workload :p

The prop shouldn't be too hard to make, it's just a fence.

What I request:

1 fence prop that is one hammer block long, and about 16th of a hammer block wide.

1 fence prop that is the same, except 2 hammer blocks long.

1 Fence prop that is 2 hammer blocks long, but it has some brushes missing to look a bit roughed up.

Here is what I made in hammer, and how I would like it to look like:

I also might have more prop requests, but that's a maybe.

I would greatly appreciate it if I got it done for free, but I understand if you would like to be paid ($5 probably, it's a simple prop [but I don't know how to make props so I don't have any say in it]).

I would like to message over steam/skype, but I can do here to.

Have a good day!

Methinks you are not measuring in hammer units correctly. Use the [ & ] keys to increase or decrease the grid for an accurate measurement.

ok, but what is the default? i know it does that but i lost what it was, but I'm 80% positive that the block is the right size, is there a way I can check it?

Decrease the grid size as far as it will go. Each square == 1 hammer unit.

Increase the grid size once from there. Each square == 2 hammer units.

Increase again. Each square == 4 hammer units.

So on and so forth. The red lines in hammer represent 1024 cubes (in the middle, the green lines overlap the red lines)

Or you can just provide a vmf with the three different fences and let the modeler get the scale from that. I'll probably do this sometime today for you; looks like it'd take all of 30 minutes to do all three.

Ok thanks. I made the grid as small as possible and it came out as 128 hammer units long. 48 hammer units tall.

Yeah, I'll do it. Give me until tonight though, as I'm working on another project atm. I'll upload them here to tf2maps when done.

So you're wanting:

1x fence 128 HU long, 48 HU high
1x fence 256 HU long, 48 HU high
1x fence 256 HU long, 48 HU high, but with missing planks

Right?

Do the ZIP files (or whatever) come with /models/ and /materials/ folders in them? Or a /tf/ folder that does? The /models/ and /materials/ need to be dragged straight into your ...SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/ folder, and say yes to anything it asks if you want to do.
