On the 2nd of April, the site will be down for a few hours to allow us to update the software running TF2Maps.net

This will also allow us to integrate some of the features that have been talked about.

Everything is expected to go smoothly, but you never know. Me and DJive will spend the morning updating the site, and most of the day tracing any bugs that happen to popup.

Thanks guys.

Just my 2 cents, I dont like how the logo from the top of the forums just takes you back to forums main page, and not portal page, was that a change, because I don't remember that.

We've had that before, must be some default setting or something, it generally works better if the logo takes you back to the main page ;)

it should be based on the cookie info based on when you last visited the forum (top right corner),

i.e

Welcome, Paria.
You last visited: 04-02-2008 at 07:43 PM

so when you hit the new posts buttons it should find anything posted new from that time -

for me its working exactly in that way, if there are no new posts it should prompt you to see all posts from the last 24hrs.

unfortunately thats one of the things that went haywire. upgrading that script wiped out the table where the 'thanks' were being stored and recreated it.
