You don't actually need the bordered ones, infactto use them is a bit of a waste of file size. because you've got red ones blue ones and silver ones you can simply cut up brushes and mix and match the textures, this is much better for filesize than having a new texture for every combination.
Not bashing the textures themselves, just the theory ;)
Stick at it, want to see more from you:thumbup:

good point but it makes it easier to have one texture rather than to have to create new brushes for each color

I don't think they look in-keeping with the original TF2 textures... these look really flat and too cartoon like. And why would you build metal plates in a brick formation?

To put it bluntly I think they look tacky, but that's my opinion
