"Welcome to the waterside town of Selbyen, where seals are released back to the shores to rejoin their friends and family!"

Selbyen is a small Norwegian fishing village that is also a tourist attraction because of all the seals that are released back to nature. This year, the mercs have decided to compete over who feeds the most fish to the seals as a publicity stunt. Of course, they'll be bringing their dirtiest tactics to do whatever they can to win.

Outstanding PD map both in theme and layout. The perimeter has close quarter rooms and angles which open up to long sight lines in the center. Basically: safe on the rim, danger in the center and it plays exceptionally well. If there was a Sniper where I wanted to push, I could rotate to a different angle or wait until the seal crawls closer to safely feed them.

I had options as a team leader to let my team take space and use them as cover to reach the seal too. There are lots of angled geometry which added depth to the gameplay, and there are still roofs and height differences to give Soldiers or cheeky Sentries to make a difference. Selbyen was extraordinarily fun, this kind of player choice is what all maps should strive to have.

I hope Selbyen stays in permanent rotation, because it has been the best PD map I've played. The moving objective: genius really, makes the map so dynamic and fun. This is in my top 3 of the unnamed Summer update maps.
