Changes are made based on a3 feedback, including:

  • The route from RED left spawn door to Point A has better flow now.
  • Added smaller flank route for forward hold (experimental.)
  • Slightly increased BLU respawn time to 6 seconds minimum.
  • Lowered RED respawn time to 7 seconds minimum.
  • Removed the one-way gate of Point B.
  • Fixed being able to build in BLU spawn.
  • Added signs to BLU forward spawn.
Changes are made based on a2a feedback:

  • BLU Spawn windows are covered now, RED can't peek into them.
  • Added a funnel between forward hold and A to alleviate fast capture by mobile classes.
  • Reduce the scale of some corridors and flank routes of A.
  • Removed some dead ends on A.
  • Revamped and removed some flank routes for B to reduce scale and improve flow.
  • Reduced the overall size of B.
  • RED Spawn is now smaller and closer to A.
  • Added back spawn barriers for both teams.
  • Some pickup size changes.
  • Increased the maximum time for round timer, no more 6 minutes cap.
  • Capturing A now adds more time to the timer.
  • Reduced RED respawn time after A is captured.
This quick update reflects the playtest feedback from A2:

  • Removed (blocked) some unnecessary flank routes for both point A and B.
  • Reduce the scale of some areas (B main area, Point A, connections between forward hold and Point A, etc.)
  • Fixed some nodraw faces.
  • Downsized some pickups.
  • Added a new pickup spot for Point A.
It has been some time since the a1a version, working A2 took more time than I like but here it is!

This update includes:
  • Redesigned second point completely based on a1a feedback.
  • Extra space for first point, defenders should have easier time defending.
  • Added new space for BLU first spawn.
  • Added a forward spawn for BLU.
This small update fixes some glaring problems of the level while I continue working on a2.

-Changed some floor and spawn room texture so players don't get blinded by white walls.
-Some nodraw optimization.
-Capture Zone should be more intuitive now.
-Some areas should be brighter now.
-Small layout changes on first point to smooth visual clarity and feel less claustrophobic.
-Some pickups size is increased.
