Japanese 1v1 Arena
After 10 years of playing TF2, this is my first map ever published!
Chadou is my (first) love-letter to the game itself and to the Japan Content Pack in particular, which inspired me to take up mapping in the first place.
The map itself is set up as a 1v1 Arena map, but really it is more about the visuals and the recreation of architecture in TF2. It depicts a small, Japanese-style garden with a traditional teahouse.
Accordingly, the maps name, 茶道 (chadou) means "the way of tea" or "the art of tea". It's not a perfect fit, but it's certainly more artsy than "Garden".
Is this really thematically appropriate for a celebration of TF2? Most likely not. The map is also likely a warcrime in and of itself, but I'll certainly come back to improve it in the future.
