Finally, the first version is actually playable​

I posted another a1d, but I forgot to reactivate red spawns because my workflow is garbage. The HDR might be fcked also.
Anyway, here is a retelling of what i've said on the now deleted previous a1d changelog :
The absolute state of this map tells me I need to change things. I plan on moving things around and adding some parts to make it more fun to play.

Necessary changelog :​

  • Replaced the 40MB wav file easter egg with a lighter mp3 file
  • Removed custom assets
    • space console
    • skibidi toilet
  • Replaced 2D skybox with a shittier one (plz enable 3D skyboxes)
  • Changed one area to be less annoying to move around in
  • Rotated angle of lighting (and skybox) by 90°
  • Fixed a red spawn door not working

What's next :​

  • Reworked spawn
  • A linear continuous route
  • Less jumppads and less jumppads time
  • A bigger mid
  • 1 island per team
My previous final note was about me being pretencious, and how I felt bad for testing the map in spite of its flaws. This note should be about how unprofessionnal it is to update my map with the same name as before.
Honestly, did any server owner download this on their server and did anyone download this map in the same time span ? No. Low, low chances.
There are so many maps on this site (most of them bad, ngl, this one included) and most players will download in the featured category.
If you're trying to scold me for that, you're wrong, because the map got renamed anyway lmao.

more band-aid fixes that took way to long to get fixed

Changelog :​

  • Now there should be lighting.
  • Made lighting scale more consistent for the floating spines and island lower halves.
  • Made textures line up with world

This is mostly band-aid fixes before I get to play the map to get ahold of things like health kits and such.
No, I won't change the scale of the map. Not yet.
Yes, I will feature-creep this map ; no, there is nothing you can do to stop me.

Changelog :​

  • Added missing red spawn door and visualizer
  • Fixed logic disabling wrong jumppads
  • Remove the lower part of islands for better(?) performance (and mainly to reduce the amount of brushsides so I can make changes later)
I don't really notice the girth of my vmfs up until I upload them for testing. The reduction goes from 170MB to ~66MB. Way better.
